The LCDSA151-SAW-S-PM monitor is flat panel TFT monitor with
integrated touchscreen and panel-mount bezel. The panel-mount
monitor is an excellent display solution for specialized mounting
applications and for applications requiring a 'public-proof'
display. The panel-mount bezel mounts from the front and secures
from the rear. All monitor controls and buttons are located on
the rear of the monitor, so no controls are exposed to the user.
The LCDSA151-SAW-S-PM monitor has a Surface Acoustic Wave type
touchscreen. Durable Surface Acoustic Wave touchscreen technology
is widely used in applications such as computer based training,
information kiosks, and multimedia displays. SAW technology uses
an all-glass panel with no films or active layers, giving it
a higher clarity and durability than other touchscreen types.
The SAW type screen may not perform well in extremely dirty or
dusty environments.

The touchscreen works with standard Windows software, including
multimedia presentations, operator controls, and Web pages. Touching
the screen is the same as clicking your mouse at that point on
the screen. This means that no additional programming is required
for the touchscreen to work with standard Windows programs. And
custom programs can be developed in the same way as mouse-driven
programs.
