Input modules receive information from the outside
world. This information can the simple input of a user pressing
a pushbutton or more complex data from real-world sensors.
Output modules, on the other hand, send commands or information to the outside world from the system. The output could be a lamp lighting, an audio or video segment, or the complex activation of a multi-axis motion system.
The Process module -the controller- is the brains of the system which receives information from the input modules and directs the output modules to perform a particular action. The Control module can be programmed to provide simple repetitive sequences or complex interactions between the exhibit and the visitor.
By combining different input and output modules and programming the control module, a very flexible system is formed which can provide interactivity to any exhibit. Using various modules, SIGNAL INNOVA assembles and programs a complete interactive system to suit your individual exhibit application needs. |
